Parental Responsibility: Child Custody and Visitation
Parental responsibilities include parental decision-making responsibilities (formerly known as "custody") and parenting time (formerly known as "visitation"). Only then, when parenting time is established in the best interests of the children, does the court consider the effect of that parenting time on child support.
